The two monitors have duel inputs, there is a computer to the left that cannot be seen, but if my main computer crashes, or has to do a lengthy filesystem check, I can switch over to a backup instantly.

I am really sick of idiots and there millions of conspiracy theories. As someone who was once one of those stoned idiots I thought I would provide some much needed insight for those baffled by their faulty logic. Conspiracy theories primarily do two things for their adherents: provide an explanation for why they are powerless in the world around them, provide a community which talks about 'rising up' so they feel empowered and less weak. |

I have taken it upon myself to try the lastest version of Ubuntu. Notable changes include the eyecandy when you boot up and login, and this feature called Ubuntu One that I'll get into shortly. There are very few improvements in this release and it makes me wonder why they bothered at all, rather than just releasing this as an update. Oh, they also rearranged some of the games, by adding a menu for logic games. |

I had an argument with some freetards the other day. I came across an interesting notion. Every new Windows release, freetards bitch about it. It is quite difficult to make sense of why they do it, but I think I have found the reason. Every new Windows release, there are major changes to the worlds most popular operating system. When Windows XP was released, many freetards I knew held back. If they duel booted, they used Windows 98. This is baffling, XP is more stable and compatible. When Vista came out, they all ran XP. As seven is coming out, they still whine about vista, why? |

Yep, Ubuntu continues to haunt me. The system I am using has some time troubles, the system clock has failed and reports a new random time to the kernel every hour or so. Gnome panel asks the kernel which tells us bullshit, because the kernel is being conspired against by cheap asian hardware. Yep, I know what you are thinking: who cares? Just use an NTP client! |

Site ChangesI have been making some changes to the site. There is a new logo image, and a footer with a riddle inside it. Whoever can solve the riddle will earn my respect, or greatly increase their holdings of it. There is a project I am working on at the moment which I have codenamed Imperium. It will be the start to a simple backend system to replicate tables between two different mysql servers in different locations with restrictions on directly replicating them over a TCP link with mysql features. It is basically a php solution. |
